A design refers to appearance established by various components or features of a line, shape, color, form, and pattern of an article, flexibility of material and ornament that can be perceived by human senses. In other words, design is outer appearance of a product or part thereof.
Design right is owned by the designer or its legal successors. Design holder is exclusively entitled and authorized to use the design. Third persons cannot produce, offer to market, sell, import, use for trading purpose or gain for such purpose any product designed under protection or a product to which design is applied.
A registered design can be transferred, assigned, licensed, pledged or given as guarantee.
